Babysitter's Club

We just joined the club... Last night we had the opportunity to babysit the little guy (our almost 11 month old nephew) for the first time. Even though he was only awake for 3 hours of the time that we were there, he wiped us out. Dillon is crawling everywhere and you have to keep an eye on him constantly - you never know what he could get into next! We played with his toys, read a few books, fed him a few bottles, and took him for a walk in the stroller (alongside Layla), before putting him to sleep. The first attempt at putting him to sleep didn't go over too well and I ended up finding him in his room, standing up in his crib and wailing at the top of his lungs. A half hour later, with more rocking and soothing, he was down for the count and we didn't hear another peep the rest of the evening. An eye-opening experience for two people who had never before changed a diaper!
