Well, it looks like my FUNemployment (credit goes to Rhea for that great word!) is quickly coming to an end. I was offered, and accepted, a position with an Executive Search firm here in Atlanta today. Recruiting is an industry that I've thought about for a long time now, and I'm very excited about this great opportunity to take a new career path.
The firm itself has been ranked one of Atlanta's "Best Places to Work", and after meeting with everyone there, it was clear why they received such a great honor. The staff is incredibly intelligent, personable, interesting, hard-working and enjoyable. The company strongly believes in maintaining a very reasonable work/life balance, which is also very important to me.
I am thoroughly excited about this new career opportunity and can't wait to get started (*start date TBD)!
