The symbol for the 2010 Winter Olympics at the top of the mtn (we're in there, it's just a little dark)
So bright up there!
80 degrees, with snow-capped mountains in the distance
At the mountaintop - a long way up!We only had one day and one night in Whistler but it was definitely worth the trip. First, the drive up (Sea to Sky Highway) has the most amazing views (which the passengers are able to enjoy much more than the driver due to the dangerous curves on the edge of the mountain). Once there, it is a great ski village, immaculately kept and so cozy and quaint. Our "lodge" was adorable and decorated beautifully. The best part was taking the gondola and ski lifts to the top of the mountain for the amazing views, and watching the (crazy) mountain bikers fly down the hills (only dirt, no snow yet).
