First houseguests

We had our first houseguests last week and it was so much fun! Mom and Dad drove down from MD to visit us in our new house, and help us with all of the pre-wedding preparations. They were a tremendous help and took a lot of the stress off of our shoulders. Plus, coming home after work with a home-cooked meal on the table each night was a fabulous treat!

Of course yardsaling all over Atlanta on Saturday morning with Mom was the biggest treat for me. We even got lucky with some pretty good finds - a weight set for me (!!), peach-shaped glass plates for Mom (Phyllis will be happy!), beautiful silver earrings for mom, decorative wall hangings for Mom, a great silver magazine holder for me... It was a successful morning of yard-saling!

Midway through the yard sale we stopped at the Saturday morning Farmer's Market on Peachtree and literally ate our way through the market. In addition to the homemade cheeses, fresh fruits and veggies, beautiful wildflowers, delicious honey, I've never tasted so many delicious cookies in one place in my life! Yummmmmmmmy!

When can we do this again, Mom?
