What a morning Bill and I had. Up early to get tothe courthouse and secure our all-important marriage license. Not only was it SO much easier and quiker than we could have ever anticipated but we have resored faith in our government, after being helped by the most customer-friendly government worker we've ever met. Wow, we were in and out in 20 minutes, and received service with a smile. We're off to a very good start for our upcoming wedding and marriage!
After securing the marriage license, we were off to CNN for help with an expedited passport, thanks to the friendly and helpful folks with CNN/Turner Travel. Once again, after just 15 minutes, we were good to go with a renewed passport for me, much-needed for our upcoming honeymoon trip to Thailand. Another thing checked off the list!
The best was definitely saved for last, as we headed to the Mart to pick up my newly ready custom-made wedding band. Not only is it absolutely GORGEOUS, but it fits absolutely perfectly. Do I really have to wait 2 weeks to wear it?
Only two weeks away, the wedding is really almost here, at last!! We really can't believe it (16 months of waiting and planning almost over) and absolutely cannot wait for our Big Day!
