Another short week

We have Thursday and Friday off this week for Simchat Torah. This is the 3rd week in a row that we've had a three day work week. No complaints here!

Yesterday (Thursday), I started off with our ALTA tennis match at a club by Silver lake. What a GORGEOUS area. Who knew there was a HUGE lake in Brookhaven?? I played Line 1 and although we put up a good fight, we ended up losing the match.

In the afternoon, I headed to Decatur for a haircut at a new place. I'm still up in the air whether or not I like the cut - a little shorter, some long bangs, and less layers. We'll see...

I then headed back to Dunwoody for the semi-annual Dunwoody Library Book Sale. It was not as good a selection as I previously remember, but got a few interesting-looking books, including some really nice Olympics books. Can't beat the prices - $0.75 for softbacks and $1.50 for handbacks!

I then proceeded on to Trader Joe's to pick up some of our favorites (Mozzerela cheese and whole wheat pretzels, among others).

Finally finished up the day with some much-needed cardio at the (old) gym.

Today I'm taking it a little easier, hanging around the house this morning (after sleeping in until almost 11am!), cleaning up, doing laundry, taking care of bills... How relaxing! I spend so much time running around town, I wonder why I don't take this relaxed avenue more often...

Bill is working long and late hours these days with MLB playoffs going on, so often I am sound asleep by the time he gets home. I don't love having him away working so much, but it is fun and exciting for him (how many people go out to dinner with Cal Ripken??) so I'm glad he gets to enjoy these fun experiences!
