Bill turned... 30-something on Tuesday (April 10th). Happy Birthday, Babe! In celebration, I baked (from a mix, but not bad for me!) my first cake EVER for him, and to say that he was surprised is a huge understatement. His first comment after seeing the frosted cake was, "how many trials did it take you to make this?" I was too embarassed to tell him how easy it is to make a cake from a box mix (let's ignore for a second that I thought that the frosting was included with the cake mix and I ended up having to make a last minute spring to Kroger to get some chocolate frosting and still be able to make it to dinner on time!).
We had a delicious dinner at Seasons 52 that evening and look forward to attending the Van Morrison concert here last this month.
