Bill and I had a FABULOUS weekend at our wedding site (less than 2 months now!), the Evergreen Marriott at Stone Mountain, a wonderful engagement gift given to us by his parents last year, that we were finally able to take advantage of and use this weekend.

We stayed in a beautiful, large suite overlooking a beautiful view of the lake. A very luxurious room with all of the amenities!

We spent the weekend walking around the Park, getting some good exercise and trying to determine where we want to take our wedding-day photos. We checked out the lake-side site for the rehersal dinner (spectacular every time we go!), and also looked at all of the beautiful views surrounding the golf club. I think we've found some good spots scattered around the park to take our wedding-day pictures!

After our adventure around the Park on Saturday afternoon, we took a relaxing swim in the hotel pool, and lounged in the whirpool for a while. Of course, the hotel's fitness room had to be tested out, too (for the wedding guests, of course!).

As we were getting ready for dinner last evening, we were served champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries to the room. How romantic!

Dinner was at the great Waterside Restaurant, and the head chef ("Chef Andrew") who treated us to our incredible tasting a few weeks ago, prepared a delicious dinner for us with one of the menu items we've been considering for the wedding reception but didn't have the opportunity to taste when we were there last. I won't share any details other than... we licked the plates completely CLEAN!

After a quick workout this morning at the hotel gym, and if we weren't filled up enough from our 4-course meal last night, breakfast was delivered right to our room this morning. I truly believe that there's nothing better than room service for breakfast! Breakfast consisted of a delicious meal of fruit, toast, cereal and yogurt, and chai tea.

After breakfast, we headed to the hotel's relaxing spa and were treated to incredible massages by the spa staff. So relaxing! I think we could get used to this type of treatment!

Bill and I can't wait to be back at the Evergreen for our WEDDING weekend, just under 2 months away!
