Full Saturday

It was great to FINALLY get to sleep in a little bit this morning, even if it did put us a little behind with our ever-growing list of wedding and house errands to take care of!

After some good workouts to start off the day, Bill and I headed out to pick up our boxes from storage (yes, it's time to pack up once again!) and then we headed off to Stone Mountain to do some more cake tasting at the German Bakery.

Well, Hilde didn't let us down and the tasting was absolutely delicious! We tasted 4 kids of cake - lemon, almond, vanilla, and chocolate, as well as a variety of fillings - lemon, raspberry, strawberry, apricot, custard, and 3 varieties of cream. She gave us a sample of the outer butterbream icing that she uses on wedidng cakes and it was AMAZING! Bill and I came to a pretty easy concensus on what we liked among all of the choices and we placed our order for our wedding cake. You'll just have to wait until the wedding to see what we picked!

After our bellies were nice and full, we did a little wedding band shopping for me (Bill already has his), and then shopped a little more to add to our registry. Before we finally keeled over from exhaustion, we headed to Bed Bath & Beyond to see what kind of window treatments we want... The silk dupioni curtains were our favorites!

A quick stop off at Trader Joe's to get some treats (those sweet potato chips are AMAZING!), and then finally back home... Whew!
