House

We had our final walk through of the house yesterday (Friday afternoon) and it went fabulously. It was great to have our agents there with us as we looked over the house with the builder for the final time before we close next week and then move in. The closing is on Thursday and we'll move in over the weekend! Yeah!

It was so great to see the hardwoods in their full beauty, the beautiful carpet gracing the entire upper level, all of the sharp-looking applicances in place (a little accident with the dishwasher - thanks for having us test it out, Debbie!), and the bathrooms all shiny and clean.

We love the house and absolutely cannot wait to finally be in there next weekend. It's been a long wait, but completely well-worth it to live in such a gorgeous home, completely designed by us!

House

Everything is almost ready in the new house! The carpet is in and looks great, the outside hanging lights have been fixed and straightened, all sinks and toilets are in... We are missing the appliances and need the back porch to be aligned with the landscaping. And wit hthe wonderful assistance of our personal home inspectors (JCC contact!) a few things will be taken care of before we move in that we didn't even notice!

Closing is set for the 26th, and our move-in will be that weekend. I can't believe we're only TWO WEEKS away from our new home. It seems like we just started building yesterday. They grow so quickly! :-)
