We made it through our first day of Competitive Gymnastics Camp today without a hitch! It was a great day of intense training in the morning, followed by a more relaxed afternoon of gymnastics videos and swimming outside, although we did get in some decent conditioning at the very end of the day (not hard enough, though! -I'll fix that tomorrow!). The girls have so much potential and it is wonderful to see them respond to the training and coaching as well as they are. I really can't wait until next season!

Aside from the challenging training we put them through, they have a lot of fun with each other and can be very silly, too. I only wish I'd had a camera with me when I walked back into the gym and there they are were standing there with their towels wrapped around their heads! Too funny!

I really look forward to a productive and exciting two weeks of training!
