A full Saturday

I started off the day sleeping in until 10:30 (!), probably partly due to having taken Benadryl last night for my allergic reaction, which has now spread all over my body. I'm still not sure what caused it, but it may have been a new body spray I started using this past week.

The "gorgeous" rash is terribly itchy and there are red "poison ivy"-style patches all over my legs and arms. Not exactly what you want to experience the week before your engagement photo session (decided to postpone), or two months before your wedding. If it is not gone by Monday, I will definitely be at the dermatologist's office first thing in the morning!

I had seen a sign yesterday for a Saturday morning yard sale in one of the nicer neighborhoods near where we live, so I drove over there this morning and, of course, found a few cute things that I "couldn't live without" (cute plastic food tray, filing system, mini-sized hand lotions from Bed Bath & Beyond - all for $2!!)!

Coincidentally one of the women running the yard sale is a competitive gymnastics coach at one of the local gyms here, so we had fun talking gymnastics for a little bit and comparing the gymnastics of the 21st century to our experiences back in the 80s! Oh, how the times have changed...

I had my wedding hair trial early this afternoon and just loved what Mandy did with my hair! I had an idea of what I wanted when I went in, but she made it look even better than I could have expected (again, not giving away any wedding-day secrets!)! I loved it!

We finally solved the puzzle to the "missing package" crisis and I went over and picked up the package sent from the Collins at our former condo this afternoon. Case closed!

Trying to keep my mind occupied to avoid itching all day, I ran some errands over at Target, Barnes & Noble, some Buckhead boutiques, and walked through the Highlands a bit trying to find the "perfect" rehersal dinner dress. I saw some cute things, but the search continues...

While I was in the Highlands, I stopped by the gown shop where I purchsed my wedding gown, trying to find some cute AND comfortable shoes to wear with my dress. No decisions made just yet (when do I ever buy on the first trip?!?!), but I saw a pair of cute ones I really liked...

With all of the running around I did, my workout got pushed all the way to the end of the day today, so it's time for me to hit the gym...
