Back home

We returned home tonight from our mini-honeymoon to St. George Island, Fla. It was the absolute epitomy of restful and relaxing. We had a great cottage right on the beach and fell asleep to the waves crashing at night.

Although R&R was the main activity, which primarily included lying on the beach (sometimes sleeping, sometimes reading), and afternoon naps, we did get in some more active activities on the island ~ bike riding (to the St. George Island State Park), kayaking (in the State Park), and... Well, yes, I guess it was mostly relaxing and being lazy this week!

We did enjoy some delicious seafood dinners while we were in Fla. Mahi mahi and oysters were the island specialties and were truly amazing (I'll trust Bill on the oysters!). And after 15 years (or more), I greatly enjoyed getting back to hush puppies again!
