I attempted to resurrect my tennis career yesterday with my first-ever ALTA match. I am on a great JCC women's team, with lots of the moms whose kids I coach in gymnastics. I am really enjoying getting to know these great ladies and seeing another side of them, aside from just "mom". Plus, with Allan and Juan's great coaching, I just might get a solid tennis game...
MM and I partnered up yesterday for the match, although we played half-decently, we lost in 2 sets: 6-2, 6-2. Better luck next time.
I must say, Laurel, nothing will match the good ol' days when you and I partnered up on the court week after week at WMHS (1990?) to kick some bootie! :-)
