Tonight was the much-awaited gymnastics team banquet to celebrate the team's great success this past season. After much debate, we decided to hold it at the JCC's CIA area behind the Center and it was perfect! Lots of space and it was a gorgeous evening for it - warm, sunny and dry!
The kids LOVED the inflatable rock wall/slide that we had down there (what do you expect from a bunch of young gymnasts??) and tried every imaginable trick on it!
Amazing, delicious food! Pasta, veggies, fruit, hummus....And the amazing desserts! How am I going to get that unbelieveable CC cookie recipe from Jodie? Will it be a wedding present, as she promised? :-) Thanks to Maggie for organizing the incredible spread!
The video covering the girls throughout the season was fabulous! It was incredible to see how far they've come from the beginning of the season. Thank you to Brittany's parents and grandfatehr for putting together this very professional piece!
I think the girls liked the plaques they all got at the end of the evening, including applauding each of them for their unique and valuable contributions to the Team this year.
Thank you to the parents for the gorgeous flower bouquets, and most of all for the incredibly generous donation to the MJCCA Gymnastics Program to purchase more equipment. So very, very appreciated!!
It was a wonderful evening for the girls, parents and coaches (and hopefully the siblings had fun, too!)!
